Dr. Raihana Ismail is the founder of Efferty. She brings a background in medical training and professional experience in women’s health, fertility, and wellness — contributing personal insight and purpose to the early direction of Efferty.
Dr. Raihana Ismail is a graduate of Crimea State Medical University, Ukraine, and is certified by the American Board of ReDefine Medicine (Anti-Aging & Fertility), Chicago, Illinois.
She began her career in Malaysia’s public healthcare system, where she served in a government hospital for five years, gaining hands-on experience in women’s health and reproductive care.
Beyond her professional background, Dr. Raihana’s personal experience navigating fertility challenges added a deeper understanding of the emotional journey many women face. This perspective shaped her desire to create broader access to fertility-related support beyond clinical settings.
In 2019, Dr. Raihana initiated the development of Efferty with the intention of making fertility-related nutritional support more accessible. The product was developed based on her medical knowledge and personal understanding of fertility challenges, and was clinically tested in accredited laboratories prior to its introduction.
Efferty was officially introduced to the market on 1 September 2019.
Today, Dr. Raihana’s role continues to support Efferty’s foundation and purpose. As the brand grows, Efferty remains guided by the intention to communicate wellness with care, responsibility, and respect for individual journeys.
